I am probably the most shy & quiet person you will ever meet. (that is, until you get to know me). I have a difficult time opening up to new people and trying new things. Much to my dismay, my son is showing signs of being the same way. So when we moved back to Fort Worth, I made it my mission to find activities for my son to join. Never did I imagine finding something that would benefit us both.
After spending most of our day at home just my son and I while my husband was at work, Stroller Strides was exactly what we needed. I registered for our free class an entire month before I finally got the courage to get up, get dressed and get us out there. I was so nervous and had no idea what to expect.
Bethany introduced herself immediately and everyone was so welcoming and friendly!
I am not normally a fitness kind of person, but the workouts are so creative and fun. Stroller Strides has given me the chance to get out of the house, get a great workout (which is exactly what I need during this pregnancy), make amazing friendships with wonderful ladies and all while having my son with me. I like to think this is teaching him about the benefits and joys of fitness and maybe how to overcome his fears and try new things!! Either way, I am enjoying every minute of it and I am so thankful that I joined the group!
